Color Country
3-Day Pioneer Ride

The Color County Rides are back again this year. There will be  a 55/50 and a 25 miler  on each day so there should be something for everyone! This is a beautiful ride in the high deserts of Utah. There are red rock hills, historic trails and dinosaur tracks. Each day of the ride will be a little different so come join us for a wonderful three days.

------

Directions to Camp: From the north,  take I-15 to Toquerville (exit 27). Follow the U-17 through Toquerville, it turns into U-9 through la Verkin and Hurricane. Make a left turn at the stoplight at 700 W and State Street. (Hurricane Chevron Station). Go about two miles  and turn right  on 2060 S. (Hurricane Airport) Go by the Cliffdweller Subdivision. Continue on until the pavement ends. About two miles further you will come to a fork in the road, stay right and go two more miles. Base camp will be just past the cattle guard. You may park on either side of the road, but park as far off the road as possible.  From the south, take I-15 to the Hurrican-Zion exit. You'll go about 8 miles until you come to the stop light at 700 W and State Street. Turn right and follow the above directions from that point. There will be ride signs.

There will be an area blocked off for the vet check so please do not try to park there. Parking is on both sides of the road. Please park as far off the road as you can so that late arrivers still have room to park. There will be horse water but bring your own drinking water.
